One of the reasons why we maintain a very good safety record is because the safety program is fostered by the upper management of the company, implemented by the Safety Committee, enforced by the managers and overseen by the Safety Director.

All roofing projects have a job-specific Fall Protect Plan that clearly defines the fall protection measures to be used and any other potential hazards and the means to avoid them.

M. Potteiger Inc’s Safety Committee members and the designated Safety Director conduct frequent and thorough onsite roof safety inspections; taking immediate corrective action if needed and recording the inspection for review at the Safety Committee meetings. The Safety Committee uses the information from the roof inspection reports to determine future safety training and rectifying any deficiencies.

Our investment in comprehensive, ongoing safety training programs for our crew isn't just a regulatory mandate. It's a core part of our operation. From Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) certifications to first aid and CPR, we ensure our teams are adept and updated with the latest safety protocols. Our internal audits, monthly safety reviews and rigorous training sessions underline our uncompromising stance on safety.
